Meassure Paramenters
Pneumatron Paramenters
Define the time where you would have your initial (pi_s) and final (pf_s) pressures.
Time desired is usually 1.5 (initial pressure) and 15 (final pressure) seconds.
Define your tubing volume (in mL)
Enviroment Paramenters
Define atmospheric pressure (in kPa)
Measurements Diagnostic
Instructions
In this chart, it is possible to diagnose your pneumatron measurements. Measures are identified by colors ranging from oldest (blue) to newest (red). Within a measurement, pressure (Y-axis) is logged every 500ms, so each measure has 120 log lines (X-axis).
A pneumatron measurement consists of applying a partial vacuum to the cut-open vessels and then tracking pressure difference to calculate air discharge. To do this, only the pressure difference from log lines 3 to 30 (grey area) is used. Thus, if a pressure drop happens in this region during a measure, this one will be automatically discarted. If all measurements of a pneumatron were discarded, this device will not appear in the 'Running Experiments' tab.

Pressure drops happen every time the vacuum pump is activated. Thereby, if you have pressure drops on the first day of new branch measurements, it could be a leakage indicator. In this case, try to use stronger clamps, thinner tube adapters, and glue. It is common to have pressure drops outside the grey region in the final days of your experiment.
To increase visibility, the first pressure log is not shown, because it's close to atmospheric pressure.
Please, select the range you want to inspect. It will be automatically displayed only the newest availabe day. Note that those plots could take a while to display.
